Steel Drawings

Using BIM and CAD, we create a wide range of steel structure drawings, including general drawings, detail drawings, full-scale drawings, erection drawings, and more. Based on design and structural drawings, we prepare drawings that take steel connections, fabrication, and erection into consideration, supporting steel-related work from shop fabrication through on-site erection.

SCOPE OF WORK

From Kickoff to Delivery

From the initial project review through drawing and BIM production, fabrication data output, and post-delivery revisions, we provide continuous support throughout each stage of the project.

01

Requirements Review & Project Kickoff

Project scope, client standards, shop standards, and technical requirements are reviewed at the start of each project.
For BIM projects, project-specific requirements such as LOD, naming conventions, file structure, data exchange methods, and other BIM standards are confirmed in advance. Where a BEP is provided, its requirements are reviewed before production begins.

Requirement Confirmation
02

Preliminary Review & Constructability

Design and structural drawings are reviewed with a focus on steel connections, fabrication requirements, and constructability.

Potential issues are identified at an early stage, helping minimize revisions and rework during detailing and fabrication.

Design Stage Support
03

Quantity Takeoff

Quantities are extracted for the main steel structure and secondary members.

Takeoff data can include steel weight, member quantities, bolt quantities, and painting areas, supporting estimation, fabrication, and project management.

Estimation & Quantity Verification
04

BIM Modeling & General Drawings

Steel members, secondary members, and ancillary components are modeled with the required geometry and information.

Based on the design documents, design review drawings, standard drawings, and general drawings are prepared. The approval process is also supported through RFI coordination and incorporation of review comments.

General Drawings
05

Shop Drawings & BIM Coordination

Detailed shop drawings, full-scale drawings, and fabrication templates are prepared based on project requirements.

BIM-based clash detection is performed across disciplines to identify potential issues, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. Drawings and models are updated based on client feedback and coordination results.

Clash Detection
06

Erection Drawings, Fabrication Data & Delivery

Erection drawings, piece-mark drawings, reports, fabrication documents, and NC data are prepared for production and erection.

Required data formats are confirmed with the fabricator based on available equipment and production conditions, followed by final data preparation and delivery.

FAQ

Common Questions

We support a wide range of steel-framed projects, including factories, warehouses and logistics facilities, retail and commercial buildings, and office buildings.

Share your design and structural drawings with us, and we can review the project requirements and propose a suitable scope, team structure, and delivery schedule.

Yes. We can work with the software and data formats you specify, such as Tekla Structures, S/F REAL4, AutoCAD, Jw_cad, and Revit...
For each project, we confirm the software, data formats, and delivery requirements in advance.

Yes. Please share your fabrication standards, standard drawings, beam-column connection and splice specifications, drafting rules, and other relevant requirements.

We confirm the requirements and resolve any differences in understanding before the first delivery, helping ensure consistent standards across ongoing projects.

Yes. We can create steel BIM models based on 2D drawings, such as structural drawings, steel fabrication drawings, and other relevant drawings. We can work with the software and data formats you specify, such as Tekla Structures, S/F REAL4, and Revit...

After reviewing the project details and intended use, we will propose the modeling scope, required level of detail, and delivery format.

Yes. Please provide us with the steel model and related models from other disciplines, and we will check the fit-up of steel members, beam-column connections, splices, bolts, and other components.

In addition to identifying and listing clashes, we can also review connection detailing and provide recommended corrective actions as needed.

Yes. We create NC data for steel fabrication and processing. We prepare the data in the format you specify, such as DSTV/NC1.

However, compatibility with the actual processing equipment depends on the manufacturer, machine model, and operating settings. Where necessary, we perform verification tests in advance.
※NC data must be verified against the specific processing equipment and operating environment.

As a general rule, we work in our own environment. If the work needs to be performed in your environment, or if specific software or licenses are required, we can discuss the requirements on a project-by-project basis.

Yes. We can review existing Tekla Structures, S/F REAL4, DWG, and other project data to understand the current progress, drawing consistency, missing information, and other outstanding issues.

We then confirm the remaining scope of work, such as fabrication drawings, BIM models, and fabrication data, and arrange the appropriate team for the project.

Yes. Japanese-speaking staff on the Vietnam side serve as your point of contact and handle project meetings, queries, progress checks, and other communications in Japanese.

Questions and issues related to drawings and BIM models can also be organized and addressed in Japanese.

Sharing the following materials will help us review your request smoothly.

1. Existing drawings such as structural drawings, steel drawings, and fabrication drawings
2. Documents showing steel quantities and project scale
3. Desired delivery date and project schedule
4. Software and data formats to be used
5. Scope of work (fabrication drawings, BIM models, fabrication data, quantity takeoff, etc.)
6. Expected scope of checks and revisions

After reviewing the materials, we will propose the scope of work, estimated workload, and delivery schedule.
